Are you set on finding that dream dress?
I recently had the pleasure of helping a bride to be, to find her perfect wedding dress.
She had been looking everywhere for this one particular dress and had her heart set on ordering it from America until I found it in a local bridal shop!
She was so excited to know that the dress she wanted for her big day was just over an hour away from her so we arranged an appointment for her to come into the shop where I now work, and try the dress on.
Although, upon trying it on, her thoughts on the dress changed dramatically! It didn’t suit her shape at all and so, the new dress search began!
It’s so important to try on various styles before ordering!
We tried her in many different styles and then I asked her to try on a certain dress which I though would be perfect for her – Now she has a new favourite and is coming back to try it on to show her bridesmaids and I personally can’t wait to see their reaction as we all thought, in the shop, that she looked fabulous!
With all this in mind, have you tried on as many styles as possible before deciding on your dream dress?
Our advice is this – try on styles which you may not have thought about before – you never know until you try them on, what will suit. They can look so different online, on models and in magazines.
Try, try & try again!
